Hello! I'm Bay-Area native Emma Haramaki, a fifth-year student at San José State University graduating with a BFA in animation June 2026

In the Animation program of SJSU's Department of Design I've learned 2D and 3D animation in Autodesk Maya and Toon Boom Harmony, design using Adobe Photoshop and Indesign, and communication and collaboration with Syncsketch and Google Sheets.

My job as a student office assistant in SJSU's School of Music has provided the opportunities to foster my organizational and time management skills, as well as teamwork and good communication within an office of 15 people. These business skills have  transferred over to the collaborative aspects of managing team animation projects in school volunteer projects such as the thesis film

"Lukso ng Dugo."

I am currently working on my own thesis project, a video game demo called "Nightland," which has helped hone my animation skills in both in-game character and creature cycles. As well as built up my understanding of the industry pipeline.

I plan to use my skills in 3D character animation and production in my future career, and I want to continue to learn and improve more to expand my expertise.
